History

Founding:

• Year Founded: The USA Chinese Information Technology Association was established in 2016 in California.
• Founders: The founding individuals were a group of IT professionals(all have doctor degrees) with visions and interests in the information technology.
• Initial Focus: The association aimed to achieve to:
  • Promote knowledge exchange, cooperation and friendship among Chinese – American professionals in the information technology field, and build an information – sharing platform.
  • Promote the development of information technology in the United States and globally, and actively participate in information technology – related research, innovation and application promotion.
  • Enhance mutual understanding, cultural exchange and cooperation between Chinese – Americans and other ethnic groups in the information technology field.

• Mission Statement: Our core purpose are advocating for IT innovation, empowering technology professionals, and shaping the future of technology in the U.S.
• Vision: Our long-term goals are fostering collaboration among technology experts, promoting tech education, and leading on policy matters related to IT.
